NBMJ hosting spring community festival

New Beginnings Ministries of Jacksonville (NBMJ) is hosting it’s second New Beginnings Festival. The festival will take place on March 19, 2016 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. It will be held outdoors at NBMJ located at 1836 E. 11th St. Jacksonville, FL 32206.

The festival will include four main elements: resource fair, kid’s activity section, concessions and live entertainment.

New Beginnings Ministries welcomes families of the East Side community who are interested in improving their lives. This includes people dealing with ex-offender issues, joblessness, homelessness, poverty, disability and poor health, at-risk youth, teen motherhood and more. We are offering prayer, as well as being a liaison to helpful community organizations.

The resource fair will feature local non-profits including the Sulzbacher Center, Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition, Youth Crisis Center, Clara White Mission and the ILRC of Northeast Florida.

A crafting station will be available in our kid’s section along with other games and activities. There will be a performance from the Holley Twinz and every hour, the NBMJ Youth Choir will give live performances. Randomly selected attendees will receive raffle prizes every hour.

By investing in the lives of the community with the New Beginnings Festival we are committing to a better, healthier, more productive Jacksonville.
